Mike has been involved with drying and processing biomass energy products and soil amendments for over 12 years. Porter previously worked as the bio-mass sales manager for Uzelac Industries and M-E-C Company.

He has served on the board of directors for Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) and Bio-Thermal Energy Council (BTEC) in Washington, DC. Porter received a B.A. in Economics from Florida State University. Married to Karen and they have 2 sons, Fritz and Philip.
